what version of the boards are you using on your site?

and, if you've recently upgraded, has that ever interfered with the actual content of your discussions?

i just converted my personal board from 6.1.0.2 to 6.3 last night. for the most part, conversations continued uninterrupted (as if no one even noticed the upgrade!! and i even bought matching shoes... !...)

i remember upgrading from the 5.45 days to the then-new 6.0, and that definitely caused a stir of sorts, and most of the conversations, at that point, ended up discussing the new look!

I'm running 6.3 right now. They don't make a big fuss about it, but I put in the newsfader or something that I've upgraded and mention the new features.

I'm running 6.3 on my test board too. Upgrading is becoming a bit of a pain.

6.3, when someone tells me how to add variables to posts (hint, hint wink ) it'll probably be very modified and I wouldn't want to upgrade... I'll probably stick with 6.3 (and 6.3.1 will almost certainly be released after my member area access runs out, so it's not as if I have a choice laugh ).

I'm running 6.3.1 tipsy Nothing has been changed in my board, well, since it has like 1 post a day or so frown Beyond Compare is my best friend when I upgrade my UBB, takes about 30 minutes to upgrade major releases. I started using it between 6.04f -> 6.05, and the only time that I didn't use it was 6.05 -> 6.1.0 Public Beta 1
